The Concept
AEW Grand Slam Mexico marked the company’s first major event in Mexico City, celebrating lucha culture and AEW’s global reach. The creative direction blended traditional Mexican motifs with AEW’s signature boldness, using authentic patterns, layered textures, and vibrant colors inspired by local art and wrestling heritage.
The Objective
Develop a visual identity that honored Mexican wrestling culture while staying true to AEW’s brand.
Create campaign assets that drove excitement, awareness, and ticket sales across digital and broadcast platforms.
Support AEW’s international expansion with localized creative that connected with fans and media alike.
The Results
According to POST Wrestling, the event drew AEW Dynamite’s largest audience of 2025, averaging 736K viewerswith a 0.21 rating in the 18–49 demographic.
23% growth in total viewership compared to the previous week.
28% increase in the core demographic.
Female viewership nearly doubled in the 18–49 group.
Highest AEW audience since Blood & Guts (2024).
The campaign helped build awareness, strengthen cultural connection, and fuel international momentum for AEW’s expanding global brand.
