Role: Senior Graphic Designer
Tools: Adobe Illustrator · Photoshop · Figma
Deliverables: Digital and social ads · Partner Marketing · Email and web assets
The Objective
This was a fun one. The 2025 UCI Road World Championships was all about Tadej Pogačar defending the most iconic jersey in cycling, the rainbow stripes. I wanted the design to feel as powerful as that story: bold, clean, and full of motion.
I led the creative across all digital placements for FloBikes, covering organic socials, paid ads, and partner marketing. The goal was simple: build hype around the world’s biggest cycling event and remind fans that FloBikes was the exclusive home for coverage in the U.S.
The Approach
I built the visuals around contrast and focus. The gray, gritty race textures set the tone, while the rainbow stripes added energy and hierarchy. The typography stayed strong and wide for that race-day feel, easy to read mid-scroll and instantly recognizable.
We used close-up action shots of Pogačar to bring emotion and intensity, layered with fog and grain to create that feeling of speed
The Results
The rollout performed strong with over 1.2 million combined impressions, and FloBikes hit its highest September traffic spike of 2025. Internally, it became one of our best-performing sports campaigns that quarter.
The Takeaway
This project was a mix of storytelling and brand alignment. I love campaigns like this because they combine athletic grit, clean design, and just the right amount of color energy. “Defend the Rainbow” became more than a tagline, essentially a rallying cry for cycling fans everywhere.
